These Terms of Use (Terms) govern your access to and use of the websites, mobile applications, support channels, scheduling tools, marketplace workflows, and related offerings provided by The Solar Hub ("The Solar Hub", "we", "us", or "our") (collectively, the Services).
By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
The Solar Hub is a platform dedicated to advancing sustainable energy and eco-friendly living. Our Services may include:
Some Services may be delivered by third parties (e.g., installers, suppliers, finance partners, trainers). Where third parties are involved, additional terms may apply.
By using the Services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and any referenced policies.
We may update these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice through the Services or by other reasonable means. Continued use after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Services. By using the Services, you represent that you are eligible and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement.
Some features require an account. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information and to keep it updated.
You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of unauthorized access or suspected security issues.
You may request deletion of your account through the account security or settings area in the app or web app, or by contacting us if you cannot access your account. Data deletion requests, account deletion, retention windows, and compliance-related record retention are handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
We may require reasonable identity verification before completing account, security, support, or data-related requests.
You agree not to misuse the Services. You must not:
We may provide tools or services such as energy audits, needs assessments, indicative system sizing, estimated savings, quotations, recommendations, supplier matching, and related reports. These outputs are based on the information you provide and on assumptions or third-party data that may not reflect real-world conditions.
This may include use of:
Results are estimates only. They are not guarantees of yield, savings, payback, system performance, installation outcomes, financing approval, or regulatory treatment.
You remain responsible for reviewing quotes, validating scope, confirming site conditions, and obtaining professional engineering, installation, legal, tax, or financial advice where needed.
The Solar Hub may connect you with verified or screened third-party providers, including installers, suppliers, logistics partners, trainers, finance partners, support platforms, booking providers, and technology providers that help us operate the Services.
These may include providers such as AWS, AWS Cognito, AWS S3, Google Maps Platform, NASA or other irradiation data providers, Paystack, Mailgun, Firebase Cloud Messaging, Meta, Chatwoot, Cal.com, and enabled model providers such as OpenAI for supplier-processing workflows.
Important points:
Product listings are offers to sell, subject to availability and confirmation. We may refuse, cancel, or limit orders at our discretion, including for suspected fraud, pricing errors, stock issues, or shipping constraints.
Prices may change without notice. Taxes, delivery charges, handling charges, and payment-provider fees may apply depending on the order and location.
Payments, payment authorizations, payout verification, refunds, reconciliation, and fraud checks may be processed through Paystack or another enabled payment provider. When you use those payment flows, the relevant payment provider may process your transaction details, billing details, and verification data under its own terms and privacy practices.
Orders may involve third-party sellers, suppliers, logistics partners, or installers. Delivery timing, installation timing, and fulfillment quality may depend on those providers and on the information you submit to us.
Refund, return, cancellation, replacement, and chargeback handling may depend on the product, service category, and payment provider used. We may retain records needed for payment, accounting, tax, audit, legal, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution purposes.
Consulting may include assessments, design guidance, regulatory/incentive navigation support, and implementation planning. Unless explicitly stated in a signed agreement, consulting does not include engineering sign-off, permitting submissions, or assuming responsibility for installation quality or site safety.
Any deliverables, timelines, and fees for consulting may be governed by a separate statement of work or contract.
Educational content is provided for general informational purposes. We do not guarantee outcomes, certifications, or job placement unless explicitly stated in writing. Participation may be subject to additional rules (e.g., attendance, conduct, safety protocols).
We may provide introductions, guidance, or tools to help you explore financing options through third-party financial institutions or partners. We do not provide legal, tax, or investment advice, and we do not guarantee approval, rates, terms, or availability. Financing decisions are made solely by the finance provider and you.
Solar and electrical products can be hazardous if improperly handled or installed. You agree to use products in accordance with manuals, safety standards, and applicable regulations. Where required, installation should be performed by qualified, licensed professionals.
We are not responsible for damage, injury, or losses arising from improper installation, misuse, or failure to follow safety guidelines.

If you submit or upload content such as reviews, photos, project details, assessment inputs, proposal attachments, supplier pricing sheets, quotation documents, support requests, comments, or feedback ("User Content"), you represent that you have the right to do so.
You grant The Solar Hub a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, adapt, process, publish, and display that User Content as needed to operate, secure, improve, and support the Services.
